Macaneta Holiday Resort, situated 30Km north of Maputo and is peninsula bordered on the west side by Inkomati river and Indian Ocean on the east side which is just a 5 Minute walk. To reach Macaneta, you need to cross the Inkomati river by ferry, which is unforgetable experienced. Afterwards, drive +-8 km in the bumpy road to get to the lodge. A 4x4 in Needed.
Macaneta Holiday Resort has some of the safest beaches, temperate water and stunning scenery from miles around. The resort is also famous for their warm hospitality and excellent seafood. The resort staff rakes and cleans the beaches every morning to provide their guests with
clean beaches that are safe and warm. They also have 24 hours security at the lodge.
Macaneta Holiday Resort Accommodation:
7 x 2 sleeper chalets and 6 x 4 sleepers chalets.
Chalets are equipped with Bedroom, Bathroom with shower, bed linen / bath towels on request, small fridge, microwave, kettle, cups for tea/coffee, offer outside braai stand.
The lodge also has very basic CAMPING facilities. The space for camping is over 200 people.
They offer basic facilities such as ablutions, bathrooms with showers. Camping sites are NOT very shaddy and in the open Sun!
Power outlets for your electrical equipment.
They also offer braai stands.
The restaurant caters for your cuisine needs, with fresh seafoods dominating the menu.
Enjoy the sunset and the view over the Inkomati river while you relish the fresh prawns, calamari and fresh fish.
The Resort is situated in between of INKOMATI RIVER and INDIAN OCEAN.
